Arlee "Clyde" Holyoak, 65, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025 in San Tan Valley, Arizona. He was born on August 11, 1959, and raised in Clay Springs, Arizona, where he grew up alongside his siblings Marcia Eisley, Ada Fowler, Joe Holyoak, and Judy Holyoak.
Clyde was a loving father, proud cowboy, and dedicated heavy equipment operator. He was known for his strong work ethic, love of horses, skilled craftsmanship, and sociable spirit. He had a natural ability to connect with people and was admired for his integrity and warmth.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 32 years, Chris Kuhl Holyoak; his cherished sister, Judy Holyoak; his father, Van Holyoak; and his mother, Jean Holyoak. He is survived by his children: Desiree Jade Holyoak Johnson, Daniel Quinn Holyoak, Amanda Dawn Holyoak Johnson, and David Neil Holyoak; his siblings Marcia Eisley, Ada Fowler, and Joe Holyoak; as well as 11 grandchildren and step-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and close friends who will deeply miss him.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with a viewing at 10:00 a.m., at the chapel in Clay Springs, Arizona.
Clyde's life was one of steadfast purpose, laughter, and enduring love. Though his boots now rest, his legacy rides on in the hearts of those he loved and in the land he called home.
