Angelica Morris

Angelica “Angie” Morris was born to Colletta Joe Morris and Bobby Kee Morris on January 22nd, 1969, in Winslow, AZ.  Her clans were Bit’ahnnii, born for Kin lichii’nii.

Angelica grew up in Holbrook, Arizona, however, she briefly lived with her Aunt Zena in Abilene, Texas from ages 3-5.  She graduated from Holbrook High School in 1987.  She met Joel Adair when she was in her early 20’s.  After spending over 30 years together, Joel and Angelica were married June 30^th, 2022.  Angie spent her life taking care of her family, helping to raise her nieces and nephews, along with many of her friend’s children in the community. Everyone referred to her as “Auntie Angie”.

Angelica had 4 siblings: Melvin (Carol), Angela (Pete), Angelisa, and Bobby Jr., along with three half-sisters: Bobby Jean (Juan), Shelby, and Shelly (Grantley).  She had 6 nieces, 4 nephews, 3 great nieces, and 3 great nephews. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, April 28^th, 2023, with viewing at 10:00 a.m. at Owens-Livingston Mortuary in Holbrook, AZ, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. A Graveside will follow at Holbrook Cemetery.

She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.   She was an amazing sister, daughter, aunt, wife, and friend.  Angelica was preceded in death by her mother, Colletta Joe Morris, her father Bobby Kee Morris, and her infant sister Angelisa Morris.
