Allen Riley

March 15, 1956 — February 5, 2022

Allen Riley died peacefully, February 5, 2022, at his home in Taylor, Arizona. He was 65 years old. Allen was born on the Ides of March, March 15, 1956, in Waterloo, Iowa to his mother, Cherine Riley and his father, the late Donald Riley.

Allen was a graduated member of Castle Park High School's Class of '74 in Chula Vista, California. Following his graduation, Allen worked a few years in various odds and ends jobs. In a few short years, he found his passion in work and began a long and successful career working for the Union Pacific Railroad. In 2008, after 3 decades of dedicated service, Allen was able to fully retire from the railroad.

He loved women. He could tell the most crude of jokes and was known for his wild sense of humor. He was such a huge entity. Wherever he went and whomever he met, he was well-liked most. It's been said of him that, "Once you met him, you NEVER forgot him." They truly will miss this firecracker of a man.

Along with his father, Allen was preceded in death by his only child, Dalton Riley some 25 years ago. He is survived by his mother, Cherine Riley-Hensel of Mesa, Arizona; his sister, Rochele LaCosse of Phoenix, Arizona; his niece, Kara LaCosse of Phoenix, Arizona; his nephew, Tyler (Michelle) Lacosse of North Carolina; grandnephews: Zachary LaCosse, Noah Montes and Nathan Montes, all of Phoenix, Arizona.

His family is thankful for their community of friends who have raised them up in countless prayers.
