Alfred Wayne George

On February 7, 2022 Wayne went home to be with his Lord and Savior. He was born in Yuma Arizona August 9, 1939. He moved to Bakersfield California as a small child until 2002 he then relocated to Show Low Arizona with his wife Beverly to enjoy his retirement.

He served in the US Army 82nd Airborne Division as a Paratrooper. A Fire Captain 27 years for the Kern County Fire Department, A Minister with United Penicostal Church for 25 years. Wayne had a wonderful sense of humor and was dearly loved by many.

He is survived by his wife Beverly of 50 years, Children Kevin George of Bakersfield, California, Dede George also of Bakersfield, California and Crystal White (Reverend Tom White) of Show Low, Arizona, 10 Grand Children, 11 Great Grand Children and his precious little Yorkie "Barbie".

A Celebration of Life for Wayne will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the New Life Temple, 411 N 18th Place, Show Low.

Concluding services and inurnment will be held 1:15 P.M. Friday, April 8, 2022 at the Bakersfield National Cemetery in Arvin, CA, with full military honors.
