James Robert Boggs

James Robert Boggs of Linden, Arizona passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 with his family at his side, just 5 days after his 74th birthday.  Jim was born on Monday, February 12, 1944 in Safford, Arizona to the late Fred Smith & Neva Rachel (Dendy) Boggs.  When Jim was 10 he moved with his family to Bowie, Arizona to farm cotton.  He faithfully served a 2 year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England.  Upon his return he attended 4 years of college at the University of Arizona.  He then enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served as an O.R. Tech from 1969-1972.  Jim worked at the Show Low Post Office for 20 years.  He loved the out-of-doors, spending time cutting wood and hunting.Jim was a loving husband, father, grandfather and protector who will be greatly missed.  He is survived by his wife, Suzanne M. Boggs; children, Fred Boggs, Robyn (Juan) Arroyo, and Josh (Kaylene) Boggs; grandchildren, Aiden, Anna Marie, Trey, Damian, Kenda Sue, Masen, Abbey, Cutter, Makelle; he was preceded in death by his grandson, James "J.J." Howe.Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 23, 2018 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Linden Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with a viewing from 9:00-9:45 A.M.  Concluding Services and Military Honors will be held at the Show Low Cemetery.
