Dorfay Alene Green or better known as Alene, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in Lakeside, Arizona. She was 89 years old. Alene was born April 22, 1922 in Trent, Texas to Benjamin Franklin and Lala Victoria (Kimbrell) Knight. Alene was a loving mother who liked to go fishing, camping and bowling. She is survived by her 2 children: Mary L. Hanson of Lakeside, Arizona and Steve Shyrer of Nampa, Idaho; 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother Don Knight of Phoenix, Arizona. Private services will be held at a later date.
