Barton Wayne Sherwood

Barton Wayne Sherwood, 28, of Show Low died April 2, 2011. He was born January 27, 1983, in Mesa. He was a very talented musician and received multiple awards and accommodations for his accomplishments. He served a two-year mission in Argentina for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Barton is survived by his parents; Dan and Judy Sherwood of Mesa, Arizona; 5 brothers and sisters: Summer Allen of Mesa, Arizona, Raine Tuckfield of Lakeside, Arizona, Nathan Sherwood of Mesa, Arizona, Lacey Rawlings of Show Low, Arizona and Sophie Weech of Mesa, Arizona as well as 13 nieces and nephews. The funeral service will begin 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the Buck Springs Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4075 Buck Springs Road in Pinetop, Arizona with a visitation beginning 1 hour prior. The concluding service and interment will follow at the Lakeside Cemetery in Lakeside, Arizona. An additional memorial service will begin 7:00 P.M. Monday, June 6, 2011 at Mesa Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 925 N. Harris, Mesa, Arizona.
